K beauty giant AmorePacific has signed an agreement with wireless carrier SK Telecom in order to share data and develop new beauty items based on the Internet of Things (IoT).
The partnership will see the South Korean cosmetics maker work alongside SK Telecom, which will provide IoT services and data, including a dedicated network that will be set up for AmorePacific.
Through a memorandum of understand (MoU), the telecom company has agreed to create a dedicated network that links AmorePacific’s worldwide factories and outlets, allowing the company to create large droves of information regarding skin types and consumers buying habits.
