Another addition in February 2017 to the iconic Estée Lauder’s Advanced Night Repair range : a Recovery Mask-In-Oil, in the current trend coming from Asia of night masks.
Estée Lauder’s new Advanced Night Repair Recovery Mask-In-Oil, said to be the ‘first-of-its-kind’, will be on-counter from February in travel retail worldwide.
The mask has been designed to be used overnight to help strengthen and support skin’s natural repair process. According to Estée Lauder, the result is a more radiant and youthful-looking complexion.
Applied as the final step in the night-time skincare routine, the Recovery Mask-In-Oil acts as a ‘repair lock’ to seal in the benefits of skincare that has been used while locking out the daily irritants that upset skin. The product is also claimed to protect and prepare skin for the following day.
The oil is formulated to concentrated mask strength and contains a blend of skin strengthening actives. A lipid complex containing Omega 3 and 6 seals in moisture and strengthens skin, antioxidants including coffee seed extract, vitamins C and E protect the skin against environmental assault and soothing extracts calm skin irritation.
During the night, the skin has a natural ability to repair itself and to produce filaggrin, a protein which helps to balance moisture levels. Both these processes are said to be supported by the use of Recovery Mask-In-Oil. According to Lauder, the brand’s exclusive Chronolux technology optimises the strength and defence of the skin.
